When water (or alternately, sewage) flows free, it represents a risk to both the surrounding structure and the well-being of its inhabitants. Following a flood, the first thing to be done is to isolate the source and stop the leak. This is usually done before our arrival by a plumber.

The cleanup starts with water extraction. Carpets soak up large amounts of water and powerful vacuums are required to pull most of it out. Following that, dehumidifiers and fans are set up in the affected area. These start reducing ambient humidity, leeching moisture from exposed surfaces. The fans circulate this arid atmosphere around for greater efficiency.

Monitoring equipment is used to track this process closely and ensure that the drying process goes smoothly and no detail is left to chance.
